Like Oh What A Night and Four by Four, Yesterday Once More celebrates “feel good” musical hits

We’re so pleased to be working with one of the best promoters in the business, Brian Edwards and his company, Rocklands Entertainment, who has not only present great shows, but set up the shows as benefits for the Palladium.

Rockland’s brought us Oh What A Night, and Four by Four, both of which packed our theater and had folks dancing in the wings to the music of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons (Oh What A Night) and The Beatles, Bee Gees, Beach Boys and Motown (Four By Four). Both shows featured world-class entertainers and great musical arrangements.

Rocklands is back with a new show – Yesterday Once More – that delivers hits by ABBA, The Carpenters, The 5th Dimension and the The Mamas and the Papas. The show is Sunday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. in Hough Hall. For tickets and information, you can follow this link.

Like Oh What A Night and Four By Four, Yesterday Once More was written by George Soloman, conceived and directed by Michael Chapman, and choreographed by Paul Holmquist, a team that works under the banner of Chapquist Entertainment.

As usual some of the best Las Vegas performers have been cast in a production that recreates that “feel good” music these groups are known for. The four dynamic entertainers – this time two men and two women — don’t imitate the original performers, but “celebrate” their music, through soaring solo vocals, four-part harmony, dance moves and great stage banter.

Songs in this show include hits like “Close To You”, “Top Of The World”, ”Please Mr. Postman”, (and of course) “Yesterday Once More”) by the Carpenters; “California Dreaming”, “Monday Monday”, and “Dream A Little Dream” by The Mamas & The Papas; “Up Up and Away”, “ Aquarius” and “Let The Sunshine In” by The 5th Dimension; and ABBA’s “Dancing Queen”, “Take A Chance On Me”, and “Mamma Mia”…all tied together into with information and humor that make these shows so popular.

And best of all, a portion of the proceeds from each ticket will benefit the Palladium at SPC.
