ABOUT THE ARTIST
The mission of the Ballet Academy of St. Petersburg is to inspire, educate, and enhance the technique, artistry, and performance abilities of our dancers. Using the Vaganova style of ballet, we will provide a solid technical foundation for the developing dancer. We believe classical ballet is a foundation for all styles of dance, poise on stage, proper alignment and technique. Our artistic director is educated in pedagogy, the “art of teaching” dance, Choreography and Ballet Directing. With this education comes an awareness of how to reach each dancer and to create an atmosphere where each dancer achieves their very best in the studio and on stage. Each dancer brings their own variety of skills and artistry to each performance. We believe these differences are what makes each dancer a unique voice in the world of dance
