Solomon Keim invites three artists from the Veropolo art school to create a menagerie of live music and live painting during a special evening at the Palladium Side Door. Solomon’s new music is an exploration of synesthesia, mixing genres, sounds, and paintbrushes to show you a story. Jazz meets hip hop on stage while the art on the walls will leave you standing, dancing, and hoping you won that painting you’ve been eyeing.

There will be a silent auction to benefit the Solomon Keim Musical Excellence Scholarship with up to $4,000 in donation matching.

ABOUT SOLOMON KEIM
Solomon Keim is an Indiana-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and entrepreneur. Originally from Tampa, Florida, Solomon was exposed to music at a young age. In high school, he was awarded the Dare to Dream Award for jazz composition and performed internationally in Britain and France. Music wasn’t all he was interested in though; Solomon also developed a passion for giving back to his community through Metropolitan Ministries and the Clearwater Jazz Holiday My Journey with Jazz educational program. This paved the way for his studies at Indiana University, where he began a degree in Jazz Studies with a minor in African American & African Diaspora Studies.

Looking ahead, Solomon is committed to enriching the communities he is a part of through promoting live music and philanthropic efforts. He has already made great strides in these areas, notably by establishing the Solomon Keim Musical Excellence Scholarship, an annual award which offers financial support to college-bound students in his home county: Pasco County, Florida. Next year Solomon will begin studies on a Masters of Arts Administration and a Masters of Public Affairs at Indiana University.
