Southern Hospitality brings their crowd-pleasing blues back to the Palladium. The South has long been known for hospitality and down-home music. Within the last 10 years, the region has seen the emergence of a musical group of young musicians who are masters of their craft and embody the soul and spirit of Dixie. The band creating all the buzz, called Southern Hospitality, is composed of lap steel and guitar master Damon Fowler, guitarist extraordinaire J.P. Soars, and keyboard wizard Victor Wainwright.

Saturday, August 24 • 8:00 PM
Selwyn Birchwood
Reserved: Tier A – $45 in advance/$50 day of show; Tier B – $30 in advance/$35 day of show

International Blues Challenge winner Selwyn Birchwood and his band return to the Palladium mainstage for a night of high-octane blues with music from his latest album Exorcist. Although award-winning Florida musician Selwyn Birchwood is firmly rooted in the tradition, the young guitarist, lap steel player, songwriter and vocalist sets a course for the future of the blues with his visionary, original music. Birchwood, whose band features the pulsating interplay of his blistering guitar with Regi Oliver’s driving baritone sax, deploys a singular sound and style all his own.
