Scary silent films, original scores, and a fright flick MC; Bring the family for a good scare with La Luchaween!

The Palladium’s special Halloween show is designed to be a treat for grownups and kids. La Luchaween will be lurking for you in Hough Hall on Sunday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m.

The ghastly trio, La Lucha, will perform live improvised music in the haunted Hough Hall to scenes of classic silent horror films. Hosted by the illustrious and thrilling Eugenie Bondurant, La Luchaween is reminiscent of classic Halloween TV specials. Curses, corpses, and cheeky jokes all de rigueur.

The creators, the trio of jazz musicians known as La Lucha, have curated another wild hour of frightening good fun. Originally an on-line event, the live version features the scariest clips from classic silent horror films like 1922’s Nosferatu, with improvised scores played live by Mark Feinman, John O’Leary and Alejandro Arenas. All this happens on the big screen and the big stage.

Eugenie Bondurant, star of the Hunger Games, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, and Marvel’s recent hit, Werewolf By Night, returns as the world’s most frightening and funny MC.

Audiences are encouraged to come in costume and be part of the fun.

Tickets for La Luchaween are bargain priced and available in advance or at the box office before the show. For tickets and more information, please follow this link.
