Get yourself ready to spend some time at the Palladium’s Summer House!

From July to early September we’re beating the heat with a series of shows in the Side Door and Hough Hall featuring some of our favorites artists. We’re calling our series  Summer House and we promise the music will be hot, the beer will be cold and the air conditioning will be set on STUN.

We kick off on July 4th weekend with Damon Fowler playing the blues on Friday and Coo Coo Ca Choo, featuring two members of the Atlanta Rhythm Section, channeling the greatest ’60s hits on Saturday.

Following that,  we’ve got comedy, jazz, a bit of the Florida Bjorkestra (celebrating Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake), a Woodstock tribute, an Allman Brothers night featuring original drummer Jaimoe, and music from the Wizard of Oz. We’re also adding a Thursday Showcase night featuring some of my favorite bands and performers that don’t  fit our jazz-blues-comedy format.

I’ll be writing more about a lot of these shows, but I wanted to make sure you included the Palladium’s Summer House in your travel plans. See you there! Swimsuits optional.
