Come meet world-renowned musician and composer David Amram at the Kerouac House!
The Jack Kerouac House of St. Petersburg is excited to announce an intimate meet and greet with world-renowned, Academy award-winning composer David Amram at 4pm on Friday, April 8. A friend and collaborator of Kerouac’s, Amram is one of the last surviving artists of the Beat Generation, the progenitors of every American countercultural movement of the last 70 years. This will not be a scripted performance: rather Mr. Amram will reflect upon his life as an artist, perhaps play some music, and hopefully, answer questions prior to his performance at the Palladium that evening. Of course, guests will also get a tour of Jack Kerouac’s last residence.
