Al Downing Jazz and Palladium present two audience faves this Sunday – Theo and Synia

Here at the Palladium, where jazz is  part of our musical DNA, we’ve had a long and successful relationship with the Al Downing Tampa Bay Jazz Association. Sunday’s concert, featuring two of our favorite singers, Synia Carroll and Theo Valentin, is a perfect example.

Working with the Downing organization, we are able to present a wide range of emerging and established talent and connect to the larger jazz community in the process. Sunday afternoon’s concert in the Side Door is called “Two Souls of Jazz” and soulful is a great way to describe both of these talented singers.

For Sunday’s show, Theo and Synia will be performing some of their favorite tunes, accompanied by a trio of musicians that are also fan favorites here at the Side Door. They include John Lamb on bass, Richard “STretch” Bruyn, on piano and Ron Gregg on drums.

The show is at 3 p.m. this Sunday in the Side Door. Tickets are going fast. For tickets and more information you can follow this link.
