Adventurous, collaborative, unique; Beacon 2019 returns to the Palladium Friday night

All of us at the Palladium are so proud to be the performance home of Beacon 2019.

Our artistic directors, Helen Hansen French and Lauren Ree Sloane, promise another an evening of dance, film and performance that will inspire and entertain you. It seems like were just only yesterday talking about the first Beacon show, and now here we are in year four!  You can follow this link for tickets and info about the show that’s happening Friday, April 5.

Helen and Lauren are great dancers and choreographers, but most of all, they love to collaborate with other artists, musicians and performers. this year is no exception – with four different choreographers, plus a collaborative piece with visual art, sculpture, sound design, and  a story by playwright Sheila Cowley. The piece is called Doors and it opens the second act.

Helen is calling it “A story told in movement.”

I’ll have an interview with Helen and Lauren appearing later today or early tomorrow, until then, don’t forget to get your tickets and be a part of Beacon 2019!
