Historic Downtown Theatre Cultivates Diversity and Artistic Expression Among Local Performers
September 18, 2025 (St. Petersburg, FL) – The Palladium at SPC is excited to announce that applications are now open for the highly anticipated 2026 Palladium Creative Fellowships. This innovative program nurtures culturally diverse performing artists by providing them with financial support and access to a full-service theater as a space to create, develop, and share their work.
Interested artists are encouraged to visit mypalladium.org/creative-fellowships for further information and submission guidelines. Applications must be submitted by November 10, 2025, and awardees will be notified in early 2026.
The Palladium Creative Fellowships provide up to $2,500 in direct support to local artists, enabling them to embark on transformative journeys in collaboration with the Palladium. Fellows are empowered to create new works, advance existing projects, explore new media, and expand their artistic voices.
“Our mission with this program is to provide artists from diverse backgrounds with the space and
resources they need to flourish and share their distinctive voices with our audiences,” says Paul Wilborn, Executive Director of the Palladium. “We look forward to uncovering the remarkable talents within our community and supporting their artistic endeavors.”
Artists residing in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Manatee, and Sarasota counties are eligible to apply. Eligible project genres include jazz, blues, dance, opera, classical, chamber music, contemporary music, world music, pop/rock, and singer/songwriter.
Applications are due by November 10, 2025 at 11:59 pm.
