Five standout concerts launch the 2025-26 season beginning in December
November 20, 2025 (St. Petersburg, FL) – The Palladium at SPC’s premier chamber music series returns next month, opening on Wednesday, December 10 with Across Time & Timbre. The 2025-26 Palladium Chamber Series brings five exceptional concerts to the Palladium’s Hough Concert Hall between December and April, featuring internationally acclaimed soloists and chamber musicians performing masterworks by Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, Poulenc, Stravinsky, and more.
The 2025–26 Palladium Chamber Series is presented with season support from Westminster Communities of Florida — Florida’s largest not-for-profit organization of Life Plan communities, offering vibrant independent living in 11 beautiful locations and a secure plan for the future. Director, Paul Wilborn, the Palladium Chamber Series has been bringing world-class chamber music to downtown St. Pete since 2013. Each season showcases dynamic interpretations of the great classical repertoire by a distinguished group of guest artists and core musicians.

Wednesday, December 10, 2025 – Across Time & Timbre: Beethoven, Poulenc, and Dvořák
The season opens with a rich tapestry of sound, beginning with Beethoven’s lyrical Sonata for Violin and Piano, Op. 12 No. 2, followed by Poulenc’s colorful and spirited Sextuor. After intermission, Dvořák’s exuberant Piano Quintet No. 2 in A major brings the evening to a thrilling close.

Wednesday, January 14, 2026 – Symphonic Titans, Chamber Voices: Brahms and Tchaikovsky
A grand pairing of two Romantic-era titans. The program begins with Brahms’ warm and expansive String Sextet No. 2 in G Major, followed by Tchaikovsky’s passionate Souvenir de Florence.

Wednesday, February 11, 2026 – Echoes in E-flat: Mozart and Schumann
From Mozart’s elegant Piano Quartet No. 2 in E-flat Major to Schumann’s majestic Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, this evening also features two charming works by Richard Strauss.
Artists: Jeffrey Multer, violin; Danielle Farina, viola; Edward Arron, cello; Jeewon Park, piano. Program: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Piano Quartet No. 2 in E-flat Major, K. 493); Richard Strauss (Ständchen in G Major, Festmarch in D Major); Robert Schumann (Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 47)
Wednesday, March 25, 2026 – Varied Soundscapes feat. Stefan Jackiw and Yoonah Kim
This program showcases a remarkable range of sonorities, from Beethoven’s variations to Stravinsky’s theatrical Suite from L’Histoire du soldat, culminating with Walter Rabl’s rarely heard Quartet in E-flat Major.
Artists: Yoonah Kim, clarinet; Stefan Jackiw, violin; Edward Arron, cello; Jeewon Park, piano. Program: Ludwig van Beethoven (Variations in E-flat Major for Piano, Violin, and Cello, Op. 44); Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Rondeau from Duo in G Major for Violin and Viola, K. 423); Johannes Brahms (Trio in A Minor for Piano, Clarinet and Cello, Op. 114); Igor Stravinsky (Suite from L’Historire du soldat for Clarinet, Violin and Piano)
The season finale moves from Schubert’s graceful Sonatina for Violin and Piano to the emotional depth of Shostakovich’s Cello Sonata, ending with Mendelssohn’s beloved Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor.
