It has been another tremendous year at the Palladium. As we close out 2016, I am looking back at a year of record-breaking attendance and fundraising, great new additions to our staff, and so many memorable shows I can’t count ’em all. And 2017 promises to be even better!
Our Palladium Chamber Players series is back starting in January. So is our Beacon Dance Project. Lots of jazz, blues, opera, and our Boogie Woogie Blues Piano Stomp on March 4.
As a patron you know the quality of shows we present both in Hough Hall and in our intimate, Side Door nightclub. You are aware of our support for talented local artists like Nate Najar, Damon Fowler, Helen Hansen French, Jeffrey Multer, Whitney James and many more. And our mission to be a home for the best performing arts organizations – like St. Petersburg Opera, Pinellas Youth Symphony, Al Downing Jazz Society, Tampa Bay Symphony, and dozens more.
We ask that you consider making an end of year gift to help the Palladium keep going strong in 2017. Your gift not only supports our outstanding performances, but allows us to keep our parking lots free of charge and ticket prices and rental rates affordable.
To make a donation on-line just follow this link to our page at the St. Petersburg College Foundation. Your gift is tax-deductible. You can also mail us a donation. Make your check payable to the St. Petersburg College Foundation. Send it to Paul Wilborn, Palladium Theater, 253 Fifth Ave. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. Or visit our box office during business hours to make a donation in person.
We will be closed for the holidays starting Tuesday after the final performance of Seasonal Sparkle.
I’m wishing all of your happy holidays and a new year filled with joy!
Paul Wilborn, AKA Palladium Paul
