The Palladium has seen a lot of hurricanes come and go in its almost 100-year lifespan, and none have done any major damage, but Milton proved to be more than the building could handle. The Palladium had water intrusion from several places and, while the water has been cleared, the building is not ready for human habitation.
We’ve postponed all shows through October 31. We are hopeful we can reopen for two Side Door shows on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2, but until the remediation work is complete and the building is deemed safe, we will remain closed.
We also lost our website — www.mypalladium.org — for over a week. The site is back up and functioning now.
On a good note, all our staff members are safe and working remotely. We are still planning for a very special 2024-25 season that includes our Palladium Chamber Series, lots of jazz, blues, dance, and more.
And we will continue to pursue our campaign to renovate the theater, making improvements to our seating, sightlines, and sound.
Keep an eye on our website and our eblasts and social media posts for the latest news on shows and scheduling.
For almost 25 years, the Palladium at SPC has been a beacon for the arts in the Tampa Bay area, and thanks to our donors, audiences and artists, we’ve also become a financially stable organization. None of that will change.
Thank you for your continued support and patronage.
– Paul Wilborn and the entire Palladium family
