I’m still feeling great in the afterglow of our kickoff concert Wednesday by the Palladium Chamber Players.
A record crowd of over 400 fans heard great works by Mozart, Piazzolla, Enescu and Schumann. The three string players – Jeff Multer, Danielle Farina, and Ed Arron – were featured in the first half of the program in duets with pianist Jeewon Park.
At the end of the big Schumann Quartet, the audience leapt to their feet and eventually invited the performers back for three curtain calls.
Our series continues on March 25 with works by Beethoven and Mozart. The final concert of this year’s series is April 15 and features Amy Schwartz Moretti as a special guest artist. The program is “All Dvorak.”
We also set a new record for season subscriptions, with 160 – up from 110 last season. If you haven’t heard these world-class chamber musicians in our acoustically perfect hall – please come out for the next two concerts. I’ll see you there!
