Outside the weather is chilly, but the weather report inside our intimate Side Door Cabaret tonight is warm and inviting. Nate Najar is bringing in a special quartet for tonight’s 7:30 show.
We are down to just a handful of tickets, so if don’t want to be frozen out, go online or call our box office (727 822-3590) this afternoon. There may be a few tickets at the door, but plan to come early if you want one.
Nate’s shows are always popular, but there are some special guests with our favorite jazz guitarist tonight. The quartet includes the hot new player in town – James Suggs on trumpet; the great bass player and Duke Ellington alum, John Lamb; plus, direct from London – Matthew Home on drums. Matthew is Nate’s drummer when he tours in Britain and beyond.
He’s in town to work with Nate on new recording. A lot of tonight’s material will appear on that upcoming record.
Come warm your ears with some great jazz tonight. I’ll be there tonight, so please say hello.

My hubby and I are here in St. Pete’s (from NYC) for the month of Feb…..saw the Nat Najar show last night at the Side Door and loved it! What a group of talented musicians, playing a wide range of musical styles, in a great venue. We also enjoyed the Barber of Seville upstairs earlier in the month and will certainly be back – same time, next year.
Thanks for the nice words. See you guys next year!!
