The Palladium is delivering some top drawer blues over the next few months and it all starts TONIGHT!
Tonight we’re welcoming the blues rocker Rusty Wright, a Billboard Top 10 artist, to the Side Door. Get ready for a night of Chicago-style blues, southern rock and more from this guitarist and his hot band. Showtime is 8 p.m. Here’s a link for tickets.
Next Friday, Nov. 9, we kick off a new partnership with the Tampa Bay Blues Foundation, the folks who produce the Tampa Bay Blues Festival. We’re going to deliver some top name blues artists in concert on our main stage. We’re starting with harmonica great John Nemeth and his band. Nemeth is also one of my favorite blues vocalists. Opening the show, and just back from touring in Scandinavia, is the Backtrack Blues Band. That show starts at 8. Here’s a link for tickets.
Damon Fowler, who was the first blues artist we brought to the Palladium, returns with his Holiday Blues Bash on Wednesday, Nov. 21 (the night before Thanksgiving.) He’s bringing a small army of great blues players and singers, including Betty Fox, Sean Chambers and Josh Nelms. Here’s a link for tickets.
Finally, on Saturday, Jan. 5, Victor Wainwright and the Train return for another night of soulful music. Known as the “Pianah from Savannah” Victor is a favorite with Palladium audiences and a master of blues and boogie piano. He’ll be joined by 90-years-young boogie legend, Bob Seeley, who will open the show. Here’s a link for tickets.
Get your blues on at the Palladium. I’ll see you at the theater!
