ABOUT THE ARTISTS
John Heffron
Last Comic Standing winner, John Heffron, is a master of observational comedy, skillfully highlighting the absurdities of modern life. His clever insights and playful delivery captivate the audience, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter and amusement. John’s a true veteran comic with appearances on The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, HBO, FX, VH1, A&E, and CMT, Heffron remains one of a small handful of veteran performers to tape two separate Comedy Central specials and has an hourlong special, Middle Class Funny, on Netflix. He recently shot his newest special in Washington DC.

Maryellen Hooper
Maryellen Hooper, recognized as the Female Comedian of the Year by the American Comedy Awards, is known for her witty observations and relatable storytelling, bringing her unique perspective on everyday life experiences to the stage. With her impeccable timing and sharp humor, she effortlessly engages the audience and leaves them in stitches. As a performer, Maryellen is characterized by her skill as a physical storyteller. Her standup material is dynamic with its ever-evolving narrative that delves into her experiences as a woman, wife, and mother. Maryellen has made appearances on a range of television and talk shows, including The Tonight Show, Comedy Central and Girls Night Out, just to name a few.

Rahn Hortman
Rahn Hortman, a headliner himself, has just finished opening for the one and only, Patty LaBelle!

Seasoned veterans of comedy have praised him for being “refreshing” and “a departure from the norm”. Beyond being a crowd-favorite at comedy hotspots such as The Improv and Sidesplitters, Rahn is the champion of the W-MOR TV Channel 32 Comedy Challenge, and was the Winner at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Jokers Wild Contest. Rahn credits the earliest influences to his humor to Bill Cosby and Martin Lawrence. The result, his vision of comedy showcasing a unique blend of profanity-free banter, with pointed observations about everyday people that leave no one safe.

Rahn spends his time away from the stage with his wife, Tynise. They have four children: Rahn Jr., Ryan, Raylon, and Rionna, who all pray that the next child will be sponsored by the letter “S”!

Jokes aside, two of Rahn’s children suffer from the devastating condition of sickle-cell anemia. Rahn uses his gift of comedy as an outlet to educate the masses about the disease, and has a goal to become its National Spokesperson.
