The Pinellas Youth Symphony is in its 66th year of serving the Tampa Bay area’s youth musicians from ages 5 through 2nd year of college. The Final concert consists of performances by multiple music ensembles including: PYS Beginning Strings, Pinellas Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, Serenade Strings Orchestra, The Pinellas Youth Symphony Orchestra and multiple Chamber Ensembles featuring String Quartets, Woodwind and Brass Chamber Groups.
ABOUT PYS
The Pinellas Youth Symphony is an organization founded in 1958 by music educators to promote the music development in our community. Our students benefit from a qualified professional staff with a challenge to train talented young musicians in the finest techniques of orchestral and ensemble performance.
