The Tampa Bay Symphony’s International Composition Competition is in its sixth year. This year 49 entries were accepted from 17 different countries. The 49 entries were narrowed down to a semi-final round that consisted of just 12 entries, and from those, 4 finalists were chosen.
This will be an informal open rehearsal followed by voting by the orchestra members for the new winner. Everyone in the audience gets to vote for the Audience Choice Winner!
This event is FREE and open to the public.
The Tampa Bay Symphony, under the direction of Mark Sforzini, consists of over 80 musicians and has been described as “one of Tampa Bay’s hidden jewels”. Come and experience the excitement of live classical music!
