About the Artist:
In 2018, Annamarie Smith-Butz and her husband, Wolf, moved to the Tampa Bay area from Virginia Beach, VA and jumped right into the music and arts scene despite the challenges of COVID. A true Broadway Baby, Annamarie conquered the stages of New York City for 12 dazzling years, covering a whopping 20,000 miles in national tours as the unforgettable Eliza in My Fair Lady, Anna in The King And I, and the iconic Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors!
Annamarie’s star has shone across the globe, gracing Holland America Cruise Lines as a headline entertainer and wowing audiences with her one-woman show, “Let Yourself Go,” at the legendary Village Gate in NYC. Her theatrical prowess includes captivating performances in Call Me Madame, Can Can, Shenandoah, Oliver!, and Annie!
A powerhouse on and off the stage, Annamarie has taken her passion to new heights, collaborating with the Tidewater Winds Big Band in Virginia Beach and the TomKats Jazz Orchestra in St. Pete. Her mission? Bringing the timeless allure of Big Band and the Standard Songbook to audiences far and wide!
