British/St. Pete-based pianist and composer Simon Lasky returns to the Side Door Cabaret with a vibrant collection of original music written for his newly formed NYC Quintet, featuring some of the leading musicians from today’s New York jazz scene. A recipient of the 2025 Palladium Creative Fellowship, Simon created these new works in response to his Fellowship.
Joining Simon are David Smith (trumpet), Lucas Pino (saxophone), Peter Slavov (bass), and Jimmy Macbride (drums), along with featured local vocalist and 2026 Palladium Creative Fellow Allison Nash.
