ABOUT THE ARTISTS
LAURA REED
After picking up the guitar at the age of fourteen, Johannesburg-born and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Laura Reed has gone onto do it all in the music industry and have a career that any artist would dream of.

From her career origins as a street performer to working alongside esteemed producers such as Paul Worley (Lady A, The Chicks) and Shannon Sanders (John Legend, Pink); to performing hundreds of shows a year with her bands, Laura Reed & Deep Pocket and LORE; and sharing stages with George Clinton, India Arie, Miguel and Valerie June; to having her music featured in films and tv shows starring Hollywood royalty such as Jennifer Hudson and Susan Sarandon all whilst gaining celebrity fans that include the late Whitney Houston and Sheryl Crow. With a unique sound that is equal parts indie pop, soul and blues, and world music that showcases her powerful and gutsy vocals. Laura’s lyrical themes attest to the power of human resilience, human rights, and the insight of heartbreak & adversity.

KRISTOPHER JAMES
Kristopher James continues to captivate audiences throughout the Southeast with his songs and stories, touring with his band in theaters and club venues, as well as supplying direct support for acts such as First Aid Kit, Marc Broussard, Ryan David Harris, Morgan James and Maggie Rose! Sharing bills with The Temptations, Anderson East, The Revivalists, Black Puma sand Mavis Staples.

Additionally, in 2023, Kristopher and his band were personally invited by The Beach Boys founding member, Mike Love, to perform on The Beach Boys Cruise. With his debut album “Kindness Never Quits”, (2019) featuring members of Scary Pockets, Kristopher caught the attention of Relix & Glide Magazine, Spotify Playlist curators and continued praise, “vocals are so powerful and as the song progresses, he showcases why he is one of the best singers out there. All that soul in one artist is just unbelievable” from Reignland Magazine-and continued to garner praise from music contributors like B-Sides & Badlands, Adobe & Teardrops, Bristol Funk and many others, for his singles “Never Had To Find Our Way” (ft. Max Brown of The War & Treaty), “Feelings” and his 2023 release “I Can Only Love You in a Song”.
