Put on your hats and scarfs…for a timeless classic reimagined.
A wide-eyed girl visits New York for the first time discovering the spirit of the city at Christmas. Take part in her delight as she dances amidst the iconic sights and sounds of the Big Apple, until she discovers a magical portal in a 5th Ave candy store window leading to the Land of Sweets.

ABOUT THE SENSORY-FRIENDLY (AND YOUNG CHILD) PERFORMANCE
Join us for a special pre-matinee as we present our 1st annual sensory friendly and young child performance of Clara’s New York City Christmas. The run time of the show is condensed to 45 mins with no intermission to keep our young audience excited and attentive. The audience lights will be kept at half to allow for easier movement in and out of seats for the families attending, and the music will be kept at a lower volume. We are excited to be able to provide a special time and event for our young dance enthusiasts!
ABOUT GULF COAST DANCE THEATER
Gulf Coast Dance Theater is a non-profit 501(c)3 Dance Company serving Pinellas County, Florida, and the Greater Tampa Bay Area. Founded in 2011 by Anne Carollo, GCDT has brought excerpts and full-length productions to audiences all over Tampa Bay for more than a decade. GCDT was organized for the primary purpose of providing a community forum for dancers and to provide a comprehensive artistic education, that encourages excellence in the art of dance, while instilling a true love and passion for the art form.
