Ballet Academy of St. Petersburg presents:
The Four Seasons
Music by Antonio Vivaldi
Featuring original choreography by Artistic Director Dr. Dusanka G. Ivanova
Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, composed in 1723, as a set of four concertos for violin, attracted Dr. D to choreograph the most popular work of the Baroque Era.
This neoclassical ballet performance will take you on a lovely journey portraying relationships influenced by the changing of the seasons: spring arrives with a whirlwind of new excitements; summer’s heat reveals a seductiveness of waves, roaring of thunders, and charming of the sunshine; autumn’s emotions mimic the falling leaves – turbulent, and hectic; winter is dignified and abandoned, but also brings the snowflakes of confidence and acceptance.
This is a limited-seating, socially-distanced, and no-intermission event designed for maximum safety and comfort.
FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE BUILDING.
If you do not have a face mask, we will provide you with one. Those not cooperating with our face mask policy will be asked to leave the event without a refund. Thank you for your understanding.
