Our theatre may be closed for renovation, but Palladium Chamber Series fans haven’t gone anywhere. On Sept. 10, our first day of subscription sales, we had the biggest single sales day in Palladium history. Half the seats in the 300-seat Music Center are already sold to season subscribers.
That’s a wonderful way to begin our 14th season. We’re presenting five concerts at the Music Center on SPC’s Gibbs Campus, and individual tickets go on sale at noon Thursday, Oct. 1. Last season, we averaged 400 tickets per concert, so I wouldn’t wait too long to reserve your seats.
Chamber Series Artistic Director Jeffrey Multer has been thinking about the people who have made this series possible, particularly our audience: “Without their constant support these last 14 incredible seasons would not have been possible.”
The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance is honoring both Jeff and the Chamber Series with a MUSE Award on Friday, Oct. 2, at the Museum of Fine Arts. I hope you’ll join us for the celebration. Find out more about the MUSE Awards.
Our Chamber Series concerts run on select Wednesdays from December through April. Jeff will be back on violin, along with pianist Jeewon Park and cellist Edward Arron. We’ll also welcome guest artists including violinist Ryan Meehan, pianists Gabriela Fahnenstiel and Andrew Armstrong, and violist Nicholas Cords. The internationally acclaimed Horszowski Trio closes the season in April.
You’ll hear music by Mozart, Brahms, Gershwin, Mendelssohn and more. One of the pleasures of this series is hearing these musicians, many of them old friends, make music together. I’m glad we can keep that going while renovation work is underway at the Palladium.
The St. Petersburg College Foundation has come on board as the Title Sponsor of the 2026-27 Series.

All five concerts begin at 7 p.m. at the Music Center on SPC’s Gibbs Campus, 6605 Fifth Ave. N. in St. Petersburg. The 300-seat recital hall features excellent acoustics, two Steinway grand pianos, and ample free parking.
