Five-concert season continues Palladium programming during the historic venue’s renovation
St. Petersburg, FL [September 9, 2026] — The Palladium at St. Petersburg College’s historic downtown building is now closed for a major renovation, but its programming continues. The Palladium Chamber Series will present its 14th season with five concerts at the Music Center on SPC’s Gibbs Campus.
Presented on select Wednesdays from December through April, the 2026-27 season brings together beloved Palladium Chamber Players, returning favorites, and distinguished guest artists for intimate performances of music by Mozart, Brahms, Gershwin, Mendelssohn and more.

Full-season and four-concert subscriptions go on sale at noon Thursday, Sept. 10. Individual concert tickets go on sale at noon Thursday, Oct. 1.
“The Chamber Series is one of the crown jewels of Palladium programming, and we are committed to keeping that connection between our musicians and audiences strong throughout our renovation,” said Palladium Executive Director Paul Wilborn. “We are grateful to St. Petersburg College and the SPC Foundation for helping us bring the series to the Gibbs Campus, and are excited to share another exceptional season of chamber music.”
The season welcomes back violinist and Artistic Director Jeffrey Multer, pianist Jeewon Park, and cellist Edward Arron. Guest artists include violinist Ryan Meehan, pianist Gabriela Fahnenstiel, pianist Andrew Armstrong, and violist Nicholas Cords. The internationally acclaimed Horszowski Trio will close the season in April.
All five concerts begin at 7 p.m. at the Music Center on SPC’s Gibbs Campus, 6605 Fifth Ave. N. in St. Petersburg. The 300-seat recital hall features excellent acoustics, two Steinway pianos, and ample free parking.

Dec. 9, 2026 at 7 p.m.
Violinist Ryan Meehan, a member of the Calidore String Quartet, joins pianist Gabriela Fahnenstiel to open the season with a wide-ranging program showcasing the expressive range of the violin and piano. The evening moves from elegance and lyricism to atmospheric color, fiery virtuosity and sweeping emotion. The program features music by Mozart, Debussy, Szymanowski and Grieg.

Jan. 6, 2027 at 7 p.m.
Guest pianist Andrew Armstrong joins beloved core Chamber Players Jeewon Park and Jeffrey Multer for music ranging from classical elegance to spirited American favorites. The program showcases the color, energy and sheer fun of music for piano four hands, with Multer also joining on violin.
Selections include Samuel Barber’s “Souvenirs,” George Gershwin’s “An American in Paris” and John Philip Sousa’s “The Stars and Stripes Forever,” along with an additional work for violin and piano to be announced.

Feb. 10, 2027 at 7 p.m.
Longtime Chamber Series favorites Jeffrey Multer and Jeewon Park reunite for an intimate program exploring the emotional depth and expressive range of the Romantic era, moving from lyrical warmth and tenderness to passion, imagination and virtuosic power.

Mar. 24, 2027 at 7 p.m.
Acclaimed violist Nicholas Cords joins core Chamber Players Jeffrey Multer, Edward Arron, and Jeewon Park for an evening of dynamic music for piano and strings.
The program explores the remarkable expressive range of the piano quartet, moving from the dramatic intensity of Mozart’s Quartet No. 1 in G minor to the rich, sweeping sound of Chausson’s Quartet in A Major.

Apr. 21, 2027 at 7 p.m.
The internationally acclaimed Horszowski Trio brings the season to a close with a powerful and wide-ranging program spanning dramatic energy, concentrated expression and sweeping lyricism.
The concert also marks violinist Jesse Mills’ return to the Palladium Chamber Series and features Schoenberg’s “Six Little Pieces” in an arrangement by Trio pianist Rieko Aizawa.

Founded in 2013 by The Florida Orchestra Concertmaster Jeffrey Multer and Palladium Executive Director Paul Wilborn, the Palladium Chamber Series brings internationally acclaimed soloists and chamber musicians to St. Petersburg for vibrant performances of the great classical repertoire.
