Tickets are almost gone for two Side Door shows this week.

We’ve got two must-see shows coming up at the Side Door this week.

On Valentine’s evening, we’re welcoming back Whitney James for another romantic night of love songs. Whitney’s spending most of her time in Texas, but St. Pete is her second home. She’ll be bringing her Texas pianist, Michael Clement, along for this show, which also features local favorites LaRue Nickelson on guitar, Alejandro Arenas on bass and Dave Hamar on drums.

Our neighbors, The Must Wine Loft, will be providing snacks and some sweets in the lobby before the show, so come early because once they are gone, that’s all there is. There are only about 20 general admission tickets left for Whitney’s show. To get yours please follow this link.

Later this week, the stars of January’s John Lamb birthday concert, Bryan Hughes and The Crew, will be releasing their new album, recorded in Nashville. The show is Friday night, Feb. 19, in the Side Door.

Along with singer Bryan Hughes, the Crew features James Suggs, trumpet, Alejandro Arenas, bass, John O’Leary, piano, and Jean Bolduc, drums. Be prepared for a night of swinging standards and jazz classics.
