Steve Luongo is an internationally respected drummer, vocalist, producer, and songwriter from, New York.
Steve’s history, performance, and pedigree with legends of Rock and Roll is epic, cementing his status as an innovative and influential drummer whose list of accomplishments is simply amazing. His most recent creation The Steve Luongo Project confirms his commitment to providing a unique premium live entertainment experience.
The Project is a power trio and will incorporate the very best of Steve’s lifelong career. The band features bassist/vocalist Angus McEachern (Full House, Mary Wilson) and guitarist/vocalist George Harris (Greg Billings Band, Brian Johnson Band). They will perform classic tracks from Jimi Hendrix, Cream, The Who, The Police, Led Zeppelin and more. But, always true to Steve’s musical mission they will perform original material from New York’s legendary “Rat Race Choir”, “The John Entwistle Band”, “Johnson Williams Luongo & Hitt” aka “Forklift” and “TorQue” including Steve’s jaw dropping drum solo. The show blends in rare archival videos from these bands and a wealth of stories told by Steve from his dynamic career that spans decades.
Steve has been playing drums, touring the world, and making records for his entire life. His credits include John Entwistle-The Who, Leslie West-Mountain, Cliff Williams/Brian Johnson-AC/DC, Mark Farner-Grand Funk Railroad, Jack Bruce-Cream, Buck Dharma-Blue Oyster Cult, Todd Rundgren, Ann Wilson-Heart, Richie Blackmore-Rainbow, Billy Squier, David Pack-Ambrosia, Robin Zander-Cheap Trick and others.
