Tommy Prine is the son of Grammy award-winning artist John Prine
Nashville native Tommy Prine picked up a guitar at age ten and just started playing. While he has his own unique finger-picking style, he learned from observing one of the best. He is the son of Grammy award-winning artist John Prine. Prine has played with his father at Grand Ole Opry, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and The Ryman Auditorium.
Solo performances include All the Best Fest, 30A Songwriter’s Fest, The Basement East, and venues around Nashville. Drawing from personal experience, he touches on topics of loss, love, insecurities, and finding significance in the seemingly insignificant. Tommy Prine makes his long-awaited debut with two original songs, “Ships in the Harbor” and “Turning Stones.” The two tracks are a preview of what is to come in the forthcoming full-length album from the Nashville-born singer-songwriter, due in 2023.
