Jazz saxman Trace Zacur makes his Palladium debut on Friday, Sept. 16 in the Side Door in a show that’s a mix of all his favorite music. Appearing with Trace are Alejandro Arenas on bass, Mark Feinman on drums, and Judi Wasko Glover on piano.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a Degree in Performance (May 2020), Trace Zacur is embarking on a live music and recording career. Already no stranger to the live music scene he has been performing in the Tampa Bay/St. Pete area since the age of 14.
Known for an aggressively charismatic improvisational flair, Zacur’s stage presence electrifies audiences. Comfortable in any style, he is also highly sought after as a sideman for various groups across Florida. His goal is to deliver musical excellence that is both fun and full of energy.
“I love to play,” said Zacur. “I love music. I see it as a language with no limits. My heroes are Herbie Hancock, Michael Brecker, James Carter, and countless others who push the boundaries of music and themselves to keep exploring the possibilities.”
