The Youth Development Foundation of Pinellas County, Inc. and the AKA AKAdemy will present the 4th Annual AKAdemy Great Debate on April 19th at 7 pm at the Palladium Theater. The AKAdemy Great Debate will offer students the opportunity to learn how to think critically using the art of the “debate.” The program features two debates (one for middle school and one for high school) and requires the scholars to learn effective communication, public, speaking, and articulate thinking and reasoning. Participants in the debate program will benefit from improved critical thinking skills, increased problem-solving abilities and overall academic performance. The AKA AKAdemy is a youth development and mentoring program sponsored and funded by the Youth Development Foundation of Pinellas County, Inc. and the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County.
