Creative Loafing’s Pick of the Week – Nate Najar’s Jazz Holiday this Thursday!

Our pals at Creative Loafing know their music and that’s clearly why they picked Nate Najar’s Jazz Holiday as their featured show of the week.

And CL is not alone. Palladium audiences have loved this show for years. We expect more than 450 folks in Hough Hall this Thursday night for the 7:30 p.m. show. If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, just follow this link to our box office.

Creative Loafing’s Ray Roa was excited about the appearance of the charismatic Adrian Cunningham, the NY clarient and sax man who is one of jazz’s rising stars. But Nate’s also added another New York and Paris jazz name, Dmitry Baevsky, on alto sax, and Daniela Soledade, from Rio, on vocals. You can read Ray’s take on this great show below:

The holidays are the best when your good friends are around, and for over a decade, Tampa Bay jazz guitarist Nate Najar has been asking his to join him onstage for his annual holiday concert. The 2018 edition finds Najar joined by some of his regular, ridiculously-talented collaborators (James Suggs, John Lamb, Mark Feinman) plus Australian woodwind extraordinaire Adrian Cunningham as the ensemble works through stuff by Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn and Najar’s own Christmas In December release. mypalladium.org
