SPF 18, showcasing St. Pete’s best talent and great guests, hits the Palladium this weekend

We’re so proud to be part of SPF18, the showcase of St. Pete’s finest performers.

Tonight we’re hosting the American Stage Improv Festival, which features a stellar lineup of artists including my heroes, Hawk and Wayne, performers from Florida Studio Theater, The Box, and headliners Improv Boston. That show starts at 8 tonight (10-26).

And Saturday St. Pete Shares The Stage, brings out some of my favorite dancers, including our own Helen Hansen French, one of the creators of our BEACON Dance Series. Helen will be performing a new piece with Alex Jones, and that pairing alone is worth getting off the couch and coming to the theater. But there’s more! An evocative solo by Rogue Dance’s Artistic Director Kellie Harmon, and guests companies including Sarasota Contemporary Dance in Kristin O’Neal’s Sweet Suite, Tampa City Ballet’s If I Cry, Si Te Lloro, and a world premiere by Alex Jones’ new project ALCHEMY.
