“KILLING ME SOFTLY” WITH HER SONG is a heartfelt and soul-stirring musical tribute to the life and legacy of the four-time Grammy Award-winning artist, Roberta Flack. This intimate stage production goes beyond a simple concert, weaving together the timeless music of a legend with the personal stories of a cherished musical friend who shares the same birthday February 10th…Different years of course!!
Florida resident, and Grammy Award-winning musician Jeanine McAdams takes the audience on an emotional journey, performing a captivating selection of Roberta Flack’s greatest hits, from the iconic “Killing Me Softly with His Song” to the powerful “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” and the groovy “Feel Like Makin’ Love.” As McAdams’s soulful voice and masterful piano-playing fill the theater, she shares poignant and humorous anecdotes from her personal life in relation to Flack, illuminating the woman behind the music—a woman of grace, strength, and unwavering artistry.
More than just a show, “KILLING ME SOFTLY” WITH HER SONG is an homage to a singular voice that shaped generations, a celebration of a life lived in music, and a moving testament to the enduring power of musical friendships. Join us for an unforgettable evening as we honor the late great Roberta Flack and rediscover the songs that have touched our souls. This must-see show is set to tour throughout 2025-2026.
